As a single mother, I took it upon myself to handle everything around the house just for my kids. I would do just about anything for them, and I am more than willing to go the extra mile just so I can secure their future. This is the reason why I have been working so hard to provide the things they need, while providing them the support that they would need to get from their parents.

Over time I have also been able to get used to handling and doing things on my own, even tasks which the man of the house should supposedly be in charge with. That was why my sister have me those pink power tools as a way to show me how she is proud of the way I have been handling things around here. This is the best thing I can do based on the situation we have right now.

In our company, we would need to ensure that the products we provide our clients will answer all their needs and requirements. We have been in the business for more than twenty years, and we would want to retain our standing, if not push this further to the top. This is the business handed over to me by my father, and I would want to continue on and be able to have my kids inherit it in the future.

Aside from investing on skilled workers to be part of my team, I also believe that state of the art technology and equipment will also do a major contribution to maintain the highest quality of standards in the business. I have invested on waterjet cutting equipment not only to make operations more efficient, but also of high caliber. This way, I can increase my clients and push for further increase in production.

Being in the law enforcement for many years now, I have encountered so many ruthless criminals and crazy perpetrators while I am on duty. I can never be really too sure about the person I would come across with. This is something that I have slowly gotten used to ever since I decided to follow my father’s footsteps.

Aside from my gun, I always make sure I have backup weapons should the need arise. I always have one of my Glock knives right in my duty belt so that I can better protect myself during close contact encounters. This allows me to properly ensure that not only do I save myself from potential death but also put these criminals behind bars.

Clothes Intact

In the house, I have involved myself in making our own furniture. I have been into do-it-yourself projects these days, since it allows me to do be creative and make good use of my hands. I never really thought I was capable of creating my own furniture, and enhance the look of the house without having to spend a lot of money for it.

I always make sure that my furniture is not only comfortable, but would not injure or harm any person. It is also a frustrating thing to deal with nooks and corners causing tears and stuck ups on people’s clothes. This is why I use my Dewalt sander to make sure that all the furniture I create is a work of art and functional as well, without having to hassle those who make use of the same.

Useless Tool

As a stay at home mother, I would always find ways for me to occupy my time while the kids are still in school and my husband is in the office. I would usually be done with the things I have to do around the house a little before lunch time, so I typically have my afternoons off. I would then look for other activities I can engage in aside from watching television all day or reading a book.

That was the reason why I got hooked on arts and crafts. It helped me to bring out the creative side in me. I always make sure I have the right amount of stocks for my materials, and also do some shears sharpening regularly in order to ensure that my tools are perfectly efficient and effective to do the job. I would not even notice the time I have spent because I have been having so much fun with these projects.

I have one room dedicated entirely for my studio. I love painting and drawing, so my husband had me use one of the spare rooms in our home to convert into a studio since our basement was just so hot and dark. I have the place to be able to express myself and show my creativity, and I was happy that I am able to do the things I love.

I needed some new tables so I can place most of my materials properly so I can have easy access to them. I decided to make the tables myself as do it yourself videos are readily available on the internet right away. I had it done in no time after I got the materials I needed; then got some replacement Dewalt palm sander pad to sand off the furniture in no time. Now I have a more convenient workspace in my studio.

Modern Ways

For those living at this day and age, we can only wonder how people then would go about their day to day activities without the use of modern equipment and machines. We have been so used to depending on these things for the longest time that we are unable to envision ourselves doing the same tasks without any help from these innovations. This is the reason why we should be thankful for these things that we have now.

One can only imagine how a person can go about trenching tasks without an interdrain machine. Grading takes a lot of effort from our part, and this equipment has surely come a long way to provide us the convenience and efficiency that we need. If these were not around, we can only imagine how long it would take us before we can finish something that seems so simple.

Easy Fix

We have just moved in to a new home, and my kids are so excited that they finally have their own rooms this time. They used to quarrel a lot with their shared space, so everyone is now happy that we can now enjoy a bigger area for all of us. My wife is just glad that we now have a tub in the master’s toilet and bath, and a spacious kitchen to boot.

One of the things which we have missed out on was to get some water heaters for each of the bathrooms at home. I had spent the entire day setting these things up as soon as our order arrived, and had to make use of a hose cutter just so everything is installed perfectly in each of the baths. All we need to do now is to unpack everything, so we can finally enjoy the new space we have.

Working On The Car

Instead of getting my ride to the mechanic every time something wrong comes up, I would usually head over to my friend to help me out. The best thing about this option is that I do not even have to pay for anything. For a budget conscious person like me, I need to make sure that I can increase my savings without fail, especially since I intend to marry my girl next year.

The other day, my friend mentioned that he needed this pin punch set which he often uses for my car. I told him that I would get him one since he would always get my car fixed for free anyway. This is the least I can do for him after all his help. Good thing these things are available on the internet so I was able to get it delivered right away in his house.

Refurbishing Works

After we moved in to our new home, there were a lot of things to do in order to make our stay here much more comfortable. The previous owners had to move to another country permanently and have left out some of their furniture and appliances with us. Some of these things were still basically new, while there are those which need a few repairs and tweaks here and there and they will still look wonderful.

One of the things which need to be fixed is the outdoor furniture in the garden backyard. Since some of these are full of rust, we would need to remove the same so we can use these items again. Good thing the previous owners also have pneumatic sanders in the basement so we had everything done in no time. Now all we need to do is to start fixing the rooms to make it look like more of our own.
